RAISE hay RISE

1. RAISE (raise, raised, raised) là ngoại động từ (transitive verb) là động từ có bổ ngữ (object) trực tiếp nói rõ ra hoặc hiểu ngầm.

Ví dụ: 

+ One of the students raised his hand to answer the teacher's questions.

+ I had to raise my voice to make my voice heard over the noise.

+ Talking to my best friend has raised my spirit.
+ Many farmers have been raising fresh water cat fish successfully in Mekong Delta.

2. RISE (rise, rose, risen) là nội động từ (intransitive verb) là động từ không cần bổ ngữ (object) đi cùng.

Ví dụ:

+ The sun rises in the east.
+ The inflation is rising by 1.5% a month

+ New buildings are rising throughout the city.
+ The chef rose from his chair to welcome us to his newly-opened restaurant.
